Record deals - Recording contracts
At Silver Dragon Records we sign
artists to
recording
contracts,
promotion deals,
and management contracts. We sign bands influenced by rock, metal and emo
although we are not too caught up in labeling music. We see a band as more than
just a few songs or influences. We are currently signing three rec
ord
deals with bands within the next nine months and plan to launch a series of live
shows and albums to promote them soon afterwards.
Most
of the people who own and work for the label are musicians and producers
themselves and we take what we do pretty seriously. We will not sign an artist
to a recording contract no matter how successful or talented they are unless we feel we have something
to contribute to the bands success. Also we must believe that the band would represent our label and
themselves well, and that the music would be enhanced by our collaboration.

on press kits and demo recording and submission. Once we receive your demo we
will review it carefully and if we feel we can help you we can talk about
specific deals that will work for both of us.

press kit, CD or tape of 3-8 songs, and a 5" x 7" b&w or color band photo and
